What is West Pearland Republican Women?
Our organization is open to members from Pearland, Alvin, and Manvel, and we extend a warm welcome to men interested in joining as associate members. Our regular meetings or mixers occur on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30pm, excluding June and July. December is a special time for us as we come together to celebrate the year at our Christmas party.
To support local businesses, we organize "Ladies that Lunch" every month on the last Friday, except for holidays. We also have a monthly Literacy "Book Club" where we review books and engage in community service by reading to children in local elementary schools.
During election years, we actively participate by opening and staffing campaign headquarters. As engaged community members, we are proud members of both the Pearland Chamber of Commerce and the Alvin Manvel Area Chamber of Commerce.
Through our "Caring for America" program, we make a positive impact by supporting local charities. We believe in a strong work ethic and the importance of unity, working hard and playing hard while providing support and friendship to our members.
Mission
To educate, inspire and encourage participation in the political process by volunteering our time and resources to serve and educate our community and to elect Republican candidates and promote Republican ideals.
Objectives
- To work for the election of the Republican Party’s nominees
- To promote an informed electorate through political education.
- To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation.
- To facilitate cooperation among local, county and state Republican clubs.
- To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its principles and candidates in all elections, including non-partisan elections.

Meetings
General meetings or mixers are held the first Thursday of each month with exception to June, July and December. If a meeting should be canceled it will appear as such on this website. Occasionally a holiday falls on the same day or weekend close to the meeting.
Meetings are held at Ms. Norma’s Cafe, 5517 Broadway, Pearland TX 77581. Meetings begin at 6:30pm with a meet and greet, and the business portion of the meeting begins at 7:00pm and usually adjourns at 8:00pm. The location and time of Mixers will be announced prior to the event.
There is no charge to join the meeting. Attendees go through the food line at the restaurant and pay the restaurant for their meal if they wish to eat.
